Dey Armbrister (Dey Phoenix) is an erotic pole dancer and instructor born and raised in New York City, with a background in Hip Hop, Street Jazz, and Dancehall. He’s performed for a number of shows and nightlife events such as Schtick A Pole In It! (New York City), Lyfe Lounge (Baltimore), PoleCon's 'Men of Pole' showcase, Black Girls Pole and Black Men Pole showcases to name a few. His core inspiration is from strip club culture, and maintains the view that the art of pole builds confidence and power through owning one’s sexual energy.

In 2017, Dey started his pole journey self taught, but overtime has trained in studios such as IncrediPole and Body & Pole. In June 2019, he received XPERT Pole & Aerial Fitness Certification for Pole Levels 1 and 2. Dey holds the silver medal for the 2020 PSO Scorpio 'Drip Tease Flow' category. He also produces and curates shows, including OUT TONIGHT! A Pole Retelling of Broadway’s RENT (2019) and his pop up strip club experience, Black Phoenix Nest.
